Family Update!
I haven’t done a general family update in awhile. Sometimes I like to do these, it’s in place of scrapbooking etc. This is the random bits of my life over the last few months, if you skip this post I won’t be offended! I hope you are all well!
My cousin needed a picture of my grandpa, this is him when he was in the military, he fought in WWII and rescued some Lipizzaner Horses from extinction, he's pretty rad.
My new hobby! Ryan and I started a podcast, you can find it at www.tinyhousechat.com
We made it on the front page of our local newspaper too, that was a shocker, we were mentioned along with Ryan, Benjamin ad Laura, and Hannah, it was a pretty decent article overall

I also paid a little visit to Jesse from Tiny Idahomes who has several tiny house builds under his belt and two that are pretty much completed by this point I suspect
Here is one inside a couple weeks ago
They are having an open house this weekend (Sat 1-4pm) in Nampa Idaho, you can come out and see four tiny houses in different phases. RSVP at his website, http://www.tinyidahomes.com/
speaking of open houses, I had one of those too! It was very successful, more than 100 people showed up through the day!

I made a hook inside for Hazel's bouncer, I move it between the patio and inside,
the Miller version of the creation of Adam 🙂
Denver still thinks he can fit under the bottom step (he lost his ball), I can't believe he used to fit there!
Tobi and Hazel are pals now too.
And I tempted fate again and nearly lost an eye. I was fixing my couch (denver popped a spring) and jetted a metal spike right at my face... it bounced off my glasses and stabbed the bridge of my nose... I bled everywhere! the cut is tiny though!
And this was Hazels reaction to her bloody mom face. We MAY have a problem...

And she's starting to oplay with the blocks I made her, you can tell by the stained shirt that this is before I sealed them! They have since been sealed with a food safe oil sealant.
She's a happy camper but I rarely catch a smile!

James has one of his renderings on a bi sign at the park. He did this for a local firm who is expanding our historical museum, where a two headed calf is housed...
AND HazAel is big enough to wear on my back finally! She likes it and it will let me get so much more done... I just need to finish making the wrap, shes decided she doesnt lik me sewing... I get a tiny bit done at a time before I have to comfort her cries...
But... ummm how could I let this cry!?

Someone stole her moms coffee foam...
AND she sat in a high chair for the first time, we had a fun meeting for an upcoming project and decidded to get some lunch after, she LOVED getting her own seat, I have to put my purse behind her so she can sit up but she seemed to think it was pretty awesome!
We went to the fair and found a horse named 'Tiny', he won the draft horse challenge too! Because we rooted for him! 🙂

or a snowcone, shes a fan of butterscotch and black cherry (weird combo but delish!)

AND she got to ride on dads shoulders for the first time, she grabbed on TIGHT! and loved it!
Not as much a fan of other foods... 🙂 Really she is a huge fan of eating!
Especially if its toy giraffes and crocodiles

Oh, and I turned 31! we couldnt find any candles though so I got to start over at 1 🙂

She is a fan now that she's figuring out her hands!
And also, now that she's figuring out her hands I am having a HARD time resisting the urge to chop off all my hair! This cut isn't TOO 'mom hair' is it?? Even though I am certain that the circumstances are what makes it 'mom hair' 🙂
Heh… don’t worry too much about Hazel’s reaction to your cut face. One of my twins fell down and got a really bad cut on her forehead when she was three. Her sister looked at her and happily exclaimed, “Oh, you have jam coming out of your head!” To the three year old mind, what could have been more delightful?
Hahahahahahaha! Thats awesome, good to know I don’t have a serial killer on my hands! 🙂
What a joy to see your happy family photos! You all look wonderful and having great times. BTW–that “shapes ball” is da bomb–we had one for 2 kids and it is a great learning toy for all ages. Thanks for posting these–I had so much fun just looking at them–seeing you all have fun!
Awww, thanks Cinde! It is so much fun to watch her start to like things, AND not like things! I am so excited to see her little personality come out!

Man, I tried to make the appointment with my hair lady and she hasn’t called me back, is it a sign I shouldn’t or just that I need to find a new hair person!? 🙂

As you requested input, the Statesman pictures is within the best pictures of you – in your natural element, and captures the essence of your work with the tiny house as well as raising Hazel. The proposed haircut looks great, give it a shot, and there’s nothing to lose as constantly growing hair can hide a bad hair cut. Enjoy!
