Tiny House Nesting Take 1!
Missions accomplished this weekend, bed swapped out, cabinets cleaned out! I’ve got some upcoming weekends of food-making and other misc baby things to get done in the next few weeks. Pretty short and sweet today, hope everyone is well!

Denver likes the new bed arraingement, he sleeps WAY closer to the edge though when he's in bed, too close for my comfort, I have moved up the timelinefor a rail

He decides he has got to be inevery picture now, this is my new end-table for my bed, the old one no longer works. I mounted this a tad too high so I will have to lower it at some point.

He's pretty dang cute, you have to admit...

His new game is to take his teddy bear up the steps and then throw it down at me on the ground and stare at it and then me and then it until I give it back, only to do it again, and again, and again... hes just like a kid!

But seriously, how could you not give it back when he gives you the sad puppy eyes...

I went out and bought way too many pillows becuase it is impossible to get comfortable It helps but they overflow into the co-sleeper for now 🙂

I finally went through all the cupboards and organized them, there was a lot of construction left-overs that have just been hanging out for a few months now since I've been done.

I figured it was time to get rid of that all and make way for MiniMiller, she got some cute stuffed animals for Christmas and is well on her way to a complete wardrobe!

I actually intended to use a different closet but going through my clothes I really didn't have enough hangy ones to justify the whole closet, and this one is far more accessible, I think it will work out great for a kiddo closet!

The other two on the left side of the dresser are my crafting closets, all of my art supplies and camera gear are in the top one, the bottom one my sewing machine and all the fabric I've collected.

And the pantry, FULL of food and needs to be re-organized yet, there are a couple weekend coming up where LOTSA cooking will be taking place, I think that's a good time to go through there too!

And below the pantry I have some paint and all my camping/hiking/climbing gear, I put another set of shelves in there for diapers and such too!

The straight on shot.

I have even made use off all the space up above the pantry/fridge, I ordered a bunch of freeze safe tupperwares for meal prep in the next couple weeks.

And the main offender, this was my everything cupboard, under the kitchen counter, it collected EVErYTHING. Now it's the pot and pan cupboard like it was intended!

And Denver is a happy man with his stockpile of brown pebbles 🙂

I use this bin as my laundry basket now, I used to use my bottom drawer but I want to hav a couple of those too for baby goods, I have a few more cubbies to go through yet but it was a successful weekend of nesting!
You are doing great Macy! Thank you for mentioning James going to classes with you. I was getting worried.
Dude, that is so none of your business.
Ooh I love organizing posts! You get so much done in such a short amount of time, it’s really amazing.
It is awesome how fast it goes, I got a lot done in one day AND there was a big ole nap in the middle of it! 🙂
I love this post! I’m a sucker for organizing and reorganizing, so I think this sounds SO fun! I’d worry about hitting your head on the nightstand (I realize it’s off to the side of the bed), but you’re probably a normal person who doesn’t lunge off the wrong side of the bed…. just me.
It goes fast with no stuff! I tested out the shelf cause I worried about the same thing! I would have to be falling off the bed and WAY up in the corner to hit it, if that happens I have bigger problems! 🙂
Hi, Macy.
I am new here and have a few questions I would love to pose to you. I am looking into joining the micro-home movement and was wondering if you could suggest any advice?
Would it be possible to email?
Thanks,
Melissa
Hi Melissa, absolutely, feel free to email me at mizacy@gmail.com, looking forward to hearing from ya!
Love the Denny pics, I wish my dog would pose and have his picture taken. It’s great that your planned-for storage worked out; I am so afraid that I will end up with a storage unit or shed full of things I hadn’t foreseen keeping or needing. Maybe part of a chapter in your book about using the odd nooks and cranies for storage?
I like that idea! I will work it in there! Thank you!
