  1. Your house looks just fantastic. Can’t wait to see the tv show.
I hope some nice soul upload the thing to Youtube, cos’ they don’t air that show here, not even in cable tv.

  2. It’s just as beautiful as I knew it would be, back when I first found your blog! It’s been such fun seeing it all come together, and you should be REALLY proud! Not many can say they not only built their own home, and even fewer can claim to have designed such a beautiful home!

  3. Love small homes. It’s the only way to go. Unlike the wasteful energy ‘hogs’ that drain a big propane tank in no time, or take several cords of wood to heat. I really like the kitchen and the hanging colorful lamps. A low ceiling keeps it cozier too. Nice all the way around!

  4. Your tiny home looks fantastic, Macy. I forgot you had the dark floor; it looks really nice with the light walls and ceiling. I love the kitchen counter and shelves. I didn’t realize you had that much storage space under the bed. I can’t wait to see your house on the television show.

  5. Macy, your place is so lovely! You did such a great job. I am so glad you kept on, keeping on with it even after your fall! I hope you are feeling better with your pregnancy now. xoxo Laura

  6. My wife loves the lights in the kitchen, I am not finding them in the ‘Resources’. Are they from a home improvement store, lighting center, recycled,or ???

    1. Hi Cory, I actually made those as well, I made pretty much everything in the house :). They are the product of taking a glass blowing class with my brothers, we each made one and each used a different technique. They are my whimsy. Glass blowing classes can usually be found through most cities though, ours isn’t that big and we have a couple studios, I would definitely recommend trying it out!

      1. Thanks for the info. That’s something I’ve always been interested in, I believe there’s a craftsman in CT who teaches it. Have to reach out to my artsy friends. Have a great weekend!

    1. I don’t think I could ever sell my baby! I HAVE actually thought about raffling it off to interested people at the end of it’s time in my family, seems like t may really help someone who can use it while keeping costs down, we will see though, i’ll be here for at least a couple more years 🙂

  7. I’ve always wanted a little house a tiny house but I live on disability I don’t think I could build one I’m sixty years old it would be very hard for me but I can only dream have a blessed day everybody

    1. I am 60 also….have lupus, fibromyalgia and a plethora of other ailments. Plus I have tons of metal in me to set of detectors big time. I crashed my Harley and had to learn how to walk again. I am seriously considering building myself a tiny house. Don’t sell yourself short! Think positive and keep moving forward! God bless!
