  1. I am loving your tiny house! The floor plan looks very well thought out–light and bright, and not crowded at all. I am just beginning the dreaming and planning stage of this, feeling overwhelmed by all the repairs needed to the house I purchased just over a year ago. It is tiny by most people’s standards– just over 700 square feet–but it feels far too large for me, with so much wasted space and a very poor layout. After calculating the cost of tearing down three small, dark rooms, moving the kitchen, and finishing off the gaping hole that would be left by removing about half the house, repairing the foundation issues that the home inspector missed, and adding insulation to improve energy efficiency, I have decided it would be easier to start from scratch building a tiny house. I have been doodling floor plans for the past week, editing belongings and getting ready for a serious thrift sale this spring, and looking for a trailer. I can’t wait to read more about your tiny home, and your experience building it!

    1. Oye, I can understand you with the repairs, fixing a place up is a lot of different work, it sounds like you have your hands full, a little bit at a time is key! I wish you the best of luck with all of it, whichever direction you go! Thank you so much for your kind words!
