Update 7.23.13

Shelf is secured to wall, this is about how much it slides out, well it can slide out further, but this is as much as it needs to slide out.

And this is the reason it does slide, there is a storage space for any large items I may have/want/need, it is about 1 foot wide, 4 feet deep and 7 feet high, should fit a pair of skis or a small trampoline 🙂

Here is the overall in my dirty dirty house!

I finished up the rest of the drawers too, they did not go together as nice as the dresser drawers did but I think I found something that will work. Because the water heater vents behind the top two drawers they are shorter adn I also had to move them down a tad so I could mount the rollers.

Because I had to move them down I had to shorten one of the lower drawers and make a 'blank' cover for the top which I am gluing on here.

This however is a little more tricky. The dog food drawer below the stove is JUST oversized enough that it makes it a trick to slide in and out. I think I will have to fix this one. (I didn't think about it until right now but perhaps I accidentally turned it 90 degrees, it is pretty close to square but just barely off, i bet that's what I did! I can't think of why else my dimensions would be off... hmmmm...)

Still, messy messy house but the kitchen is coming together. You can see just barely the shelves that are getting ready to go up on the counter behind all the mess 🙂
