An Updated Tour
Every couple of years I realize that a bunch of things have changed about our house. Sometimes it might be ‘we’re pregnant again and so inclosing the patio.’ Other times it might be ‘we moved 300 miles and are now off grid.’ I think this is the most profound change so far, it’s the ‘we lived through the pandemic and built a patio and made our tiny house legal and permanent’ version.
This time, the kids also wanted to help. I set them off on the goal of making a five minute video. We failed. They have lots of side stories and other ideas. They didn’t want to stop at the house. So, after this house update we take you on a tour of our whole property: the future building pad, the barn, the coop, the pond and even their favorite climbing tree. It’s kind of a lot.
You’ve established a beautiful minimalist life amidst nature with your children and pets, which is wonderful. The details on the veranda, like the railings and spider webs, are perfect touches 🙂 For a tiny house that’s 12 years old, it still looks great! I’m also a tiny house manufacturer and I try to study the minimalist tiny house lifestyles of people in different locations. That’s how I came across your video. It gave me some valuable insights, even if just a little. Thank you for that. Greetings from Turkey!
Thank you for your kind words!!
