Open House???

I have wheels to put back on, small pieces to finish, an inspection to pass on Wednesday and a move to make Sunday.  After the move there are a few odds and ends to figure out but then the big open house to throw!  I want to make sure Denny gets here and settled down/comfortable but then I plan on buying way too much beer, some burgers and having an entirely too fun open house.  Anyone who is even remotely interested in seeing what 196 s.f. feels like in reality is welcome to swing by.  It will most likely happen mid July but the particular date is not set just yet, as it gets closer I am going to send out an E-vite to all interested parties.  If you would like to be on the list please either email me at mizacy@gmail.com and let me know, or leave a comment below with your email, whatever works best for you!

It will be a very casual, all-day sort of event, come and go as you please, most likely on a Saturday (I am eyeing the 13th or the 20th) starting early and probably ending with a bon-fire of sorts.  We don’t even have to know each other well, if you are curious at all about tiny houses we are already friends enough.  I mean please don’t be too weird and stuff… I have a pretty high tolerance of weird… but don’t be ‘too weird’ :).   My guess is that my house is more ‘feasible’ than you may think, I’ll bet you a beer on that!  If not, at least you know!

I hope you can make it out and feel free to invite anyone you think may be interested in seeing a tiny house.

  1. Oh how I wish I lived close enough for this. I’ve actually been in a Fencl and it was way too cramped for me. Somehow your house looks a lot more open and I’d love to see it! Here’s hoping for a terrific open house 🙂 Drink a beer for me!

  2. Oh my goodness, what wonderful progress you have made! I wish I lived close enough to attend an open house, but South Korea is a bit of a commute at the moment…hehehe!!! I really love your design and can totally see our family living in something very similar. I can’t wait to hear updates on living there with your pup. Fantastic job!

  3. Ah! You know I wish I could come 🙂 A friend of mine is returning home (at least briefly) to Idaho from a year au-pairing in France — I might convince her to swing by for me 🙂 I have a feeling you’d dig each other — and Jaz would adore your tiny house.

Either way — YEAHGIRL! holy tiny house excitement.
