Update 6.2.13
Just some pictures tonight, I am tuckered! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I never took a picture of how the flashing went together oer the windows, here it is, it SHOULD have gone below the rainscreen portion but since it wasn't as well thought out as it should be this was a makshif wy that out to work

The metal flashing is over the furring and then flashed in with flexible window flashing and then caulked in the corners

The overall view heading to work Saturday morning, just in time to cut off the axles! 😉

And also the day I was determined to finish the siding, I couldn't have done it without James's help

Up close and personal starting out the day

I am a little scared to be standing where James is...

Because this is where he is. We worked away most of the day, I was ripping and planing, James was hanging

This is how the trim has held up, it has shifted a little with expansion/contraction with the weather

The last two rows! The gap at the top is the vent to allow the flow of moisture through the wall system. There is a bug screen behind it to keep the bees from making nests.

Bam! Siding is all the way on! Just the roof of the deck and the electrical closet up front left to do

I think it looks as good as I could have expected, I am VERY happy with it!

🙂

And from the front! You can see the electrical cabinet below which I still need to build doors for

But that is the end of Saturday, we had to call it quits early because the Idaho Shakespeare Festival officially kicked off so I got to go watch Blithe Spirit with my whole family, my sweetie and some friends!

Than back at it early Sunday morning, cleaning up some crooked edges with the router. Of all tools I use routers probably scare me the most... so jumpy!

Then the wheels.. gone!

The trailer needs to raise up for better clearance, originally I thought I could just add spacers, it is a little more in depth than that. It is more work but I will be MUCH more comfortable with the results, that's for sure!

Starting to jack it up in it's new place again

And on blocks

This is the spacer, The good part is that the axle brackets can now be welded in the shop in a much more ergonomic fashion 🙂

Th tube steel acts as the spacer and will be welded to the bottom of the trailer frame pushing the wheels down a couple inches and giving me more clearance for my tires

Dad is a rock star, he pretty much did this solo today while James and I ripped apart a couple more pallets and de-nailed them, planed them for the deck roof and doors

Used the porta-band to cut off the old brackets

I didn't do too much of this before the next chain of events

Work work work and then James gets ready to head home and gets a flat, at least he was near (rogue nail 🙁 ) We took a detour to get that fixed up!

Got back and started the porch ceiling, I didn't get done but I'm a whole lot closer than I was yesterday 🙂

I still have to build closet doors for the electrical closet

End of the weekend, here it is!
awesome Macy! it looks beautiful! I love the black fascia / top trim above with the black trailer below…
Well thank you, that’s actually why I picked the black but I have recently been doubting myself thinking I should have gone with some other color, appreciate that!
I LOVE the siding! It looks soooo good! It looks warm, and I like the black contrast.
Thank you! 🙂
