Update 6.3.12
Just a quick updated, Might get another later tonight if there is still light for pictures :).ย In short I have the sheathing on the roof, other than doors I am enclosed!

I was finally able to go out to the farmers market with my little sister Carissa, we had a great time AND I got to pick up the plants for my garden. Which I got planted outside my front door!

Straight out the front door.

Before finishing up the sheathing.

All enclosed, not exactly 'dryed in' but I'm figuring that out ๐

The roof is enclosed! I need to install the doors and it is technically 'campable', I have A LOT to do to make it all livable though. I have been scrambling to find a material that will work for my roofing, struggling there but I think I may have found something, wish me luck!

this will be covered with my roofing material but the house is technically enclosed, well, after I put the doors in, hopefully this afternoon.

I need to build the porch and the porch wall, then put the roofing/back wall material up, finish the furring for the pallet wood (hopefully this afternoon).

The furring is just started. For this furring, since I am putting it over my vapor barrier I am caulking the back and shooting it in with small nails so the hole seals.

I got my doors, I have a slight issue because apprerently I didn't measure BOTH of the doors. I got them off of craigslist and I would swear that I did measure both but alas one is 1.5" bigger than the other and therefore 1.5" bigger than the opening framed for it! I am going to have to cut into the header which shouldn't be an issue structurally. It will make a small error that will be pretty visible to me but I'll get over it ๐ Once again Bentley Door & Windows came through for me, they did an excellent job of pre-hanging these for me and gave be a big break on the price. So grateful!

I got some progress made on disassembling the pallets! I layed them all out and took a skill-saw up each side, now I just have to pry the planks off of the middle support. It's a slow process but the only way it gets done is to do it... so it's my filler work ๐

These are what was sawn off the sides, it's about half of them. I would love some way to use these but they may just be good for a big bon fire at the end of this project ๐

Just another view
I’m sure you’ll think of something to use the extra pallet wood from, some small shelves, etc.
I think a winter wiener roast is sounding good… since that’s probably when I will finally be getting done with this! ๐
