Getting things ready with a good cleaning. I used soap and water, then lime-a-way. the box said to sand with 400-600 grit sandpaper to get asurface paint would stick to... I started this but it actually made my tiles smoother since they kind of had a rough surface anyway, the paint is intended for the smooth subway tiles too... so I skipped that on the rest of the shower.
