  1. I very much like the house design in general. I would do the bed area differently. I don’t like the blankets showing, I’d put some kind of railing around the top, and work out how to hide the metal. Which looks cold. Put drawers insde the stairs for extra storage. And rethink the design of the cupboards. I really like this design though. I think it’s great.

    1. Thats the best part about tiny’s, you can do them however you like, I like the industrial look of the metal, it would have certainly been easier to do it a different way and the cupboards are perfectly designed for Denver and I both! Others would definitely want to change some aspects I’mm sure but I’ve designed it for me :). Thanks for the kind words.

  2. Hi Macy,

Yah, I’ve shown your design to several friends and family and this is the favourite so far. I’m surprised how many of my friends and family, want to downsize.
I’ll check your blog, but I’ll be interested in how your finding living there say after a year or so. I served a mission once, living pretty much on nothing. So one of the homes I lived in was actually this size maybe a tad wider and a tad shorter, living small gave more time for other stuff. They did a great job btw of the photo shoot.
    bye Kat.

  3. This is one of the nicest features I’ve seen — the bed is raised and out of the way but accessible to night bathroom visits, especially with those wonderful stairs. I don’t think I’d do very well with just a ladder. One false step and you’re toast. And the lofts always make me a little claustrophobic, even the ones with skylights. This is an amazing design! Do you have floor plans?

  4. THE DRYWALL WORK IS TERRABLE. YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING THAT WAS TAPED. I WAS A TAPER FOR 40 YRS. AND WOULD NEVER LET A JOB GO THAT LOOKED LIKE THAT.

    1. Well thank you… Or something, I’m sure you are indeed a better taper than me, especially because this was my first time… I hope you feel better announcing how superior you are. Most of the rest of work is sub par as well since it was my first time and I was trying to learn, I’ve gotten better but I certainly haven’t got 40 years of experience under my belt…
