My particular trailer is nearly 3′ off the ground, your height constraints are typically 13′-6″, my house as is is ~12′-7″ so on MY trailer I don’t really have room for it, most other trailers are considerably lower to start though so you could definitely design it that way.
on the patio, yes, There is also a johnny jumper for Hazel, we sit out there and read. I have a patio set with more chair off of the deck. Its a great chair for squishing a couple of people on, so long as you like those people 🙂
All of th cost info can b found here, http://minimotives.com/budget/, I have no plans to sell it or build others, this is just my personal tiny home, I do offer the plans which can be given to any contractor…
Are you willing to disclose how you found the land the set it on? Also, is that a compost toilet? THAT is the one thing that is making me nervous about tiny house living, to be honest with you! Lovely home, though 🙂
Brautiful! Congratulations. Superb! Love the white ! I am inspired to continue working on creating “tiny houses” for displaced persons in developing countries
like Haiti. By seeing houses like this, I am convinced that a single room dwelling can be so designed to make it very functional while keeping it “tiny”.
I have radiant floors and good insulation, i also test various other heaters just so I can know what to recommend, I have a convection heater, a small electric oil radiant heater and a propane heater, heating is not really an issues with any of them, we’ve been in the negative #s… Insulation is key!
Wow! Great work! (and great photography is priceless)
Great photo!
Would it be possible to put a loft above the kitchen/bathroom? Just so my kid has a place of his own. That means maybe make the roof higher.

Sure! I just asked around, once I had the house pretty far along I had a lot of options for parking, it was an unknown until then though! Here are some options, http://minimotives.com/2014/06/25/where-can-you-park-a-tiny-house/. And yes, the composting toilet was something I was Very leary on too, I will honestly tell you that I love it more than a flush toilet for all these reasons, http://minimotives.com/2014/02/13/how-my-composting-toilet-actually-works/ 🙂 I couldn’t doo the bucket thing I think… 🙂
Very nice home and photos. It helps a lot and keeps me motivated to do something similar here in Boise.
Thanks Perry!

Keep up the great work.

Thanks so much!
That is pretty cool. Efficient, but yet functional. Bet it saves tones of money too.
Over a grand a month! Woot! Makes saving a LOT easier! 🙂
How do you keep your house warm in the winter? That would be my biggest concern for me, living in the midwest.

Fantastic in everywhichway:-)
Thanks!
